Sense Writing is for writers of all levels and genres.
2-Day Sense Writing I: Memory, Life Stories, and Fiction
In a supportive environment, you will learn to:
˜Work with the nervous system to interrupt body and language patterns that inhibit writing
˜Find pleasure in all the stages of writing
˜Complete two to three pieces of memoir and/or fiction.

Madelyn Kent is a former Creative Writing Lecturer at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and Somatic Educator. She has taught Sense Writing at NYU, Kripalu Retreat, and NY's Open Center.

Come discover your love of writing through your own life stories whether you’re a beginner nervous to start or a long-time writer feeling stuck. Through highly effective and accessible movement and writing exercises, you will learn to access flow and refine your craft.
Sense Writing frees you from the thoughts you think you “should” be thinking so you learn to create without anxiety. Includes personal feedback from Madelyn.
Workshops are taught in English, though participants are welcome to write in Hebrew.
