Teacher & Developer

All workshops led by Sense Writing's Developer Madelyn Kent, former Lecturer in Creative Writing at New York University.

Sense Writing is organized around three levels (I-III). Start with Sense Writing I and continue with II & III.

Sense Writing I: Memory, Life Stories and Fiction

Discover your love of writing in the first course of the series. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced writer struggling with a block, Sense Writing I is your way in. Sense Writing frees you from the thoughts you think you “should” be thinking so you learn to create without anxiety.

In a supportive environment, you will learn to:

  • Interrupt body and language patterns that inhibit writing.
  • Find pleasure in all stages of writing, including re-writing.
  • Complete three pieces of non-fiction or fiction.

Sense Writing I, Section A: Mondays, November 28- December 19, 19:00-21:30

Sense Writing I, Section B: Tuesdays, November 29-December 20, 19:00-21:30

*Please note: If you cannot make all of the sessions of the section you register for, you can substitute up to one of the other section.

*The fee for Sense Writing I is 680 NIS. A deposit of 200 NIS reserves your spot. The remainder can be paid by up to two post-dated checks.
