Bring the practice home.

With over one hundred writing and movement lessons ("sequences"), Sense Writing is a ground-breaking approach that merges principles of Somatic Education and neuro-plasticity into the creative process.

Now for the first time the same Sense Writing sequences that have allowed hundreds of people to "bring blood" to the delicate connections among their senses, imagination, and movement to increase creative flow, have been made into recordings.

These Sense Writing recordings are available only in our one-to-one training program.

How will I learn?

In addition to one-on-one meetings with me, you will have your own private, password-protected webpage (that looks something like the page you are reading) where you will receive weekly recordings, post your work, and communicate with me throughout the week. After each personal session, you will receive custom training recordings based on your needs for the week which spiral through and reinforce the skills learned in our previous session together. These recordings are highly meditative and guiding.  All you do is press play and through the sequences, generate writing.  Sometimes, there also be a short training video. After each recorded session that you do, there is a short reflection template to fill out that I will read and comment on.

How much time will it require each week?

That depends on how much you want to write. In addition to the 75-minute sessions, you will have a writing assignment for that week which is supported by the recorded training sequences.  These recordings usually run 15-25 minutes, while the more in-depth sequences run 30-40 minutes. You can listen to and do these recordings as many times as you'd like.

Between our sessions, there are built-in "weeks of integration," where you continue to do the training and send me your reflections, but without the one-on-sessions.  The weeks that we don't meet are designed to give us time to reflect on and determine what shifts are happening in your writing practice.  For efficacy, it is highly recommended that you complete Process and Craft within 2 months of the start session, The Practice within 3 months, and The Masterclass within 6 months (not including the follow-ups sessions).

Trainings

Process and Craft, Module One (6 sessions)

Whether you are new to writing or an experienced writer stuck in a long-term project, Sense Writing: Process and Craft will shift the way you create.  Delve deeply into Sense Writing's first module, Constraints and Freedom, and learn pragmatic tools that will unlock your voice and find new habits guided by curiosity and a newly sharpened intuition rather than compulsion or feelings of "performance."  You will have the time to both discover the beautiful simplicity of your creative process and understand the complexity of it-- and it will be both of these that will keep you engaged and invested in your writing.
